Ghuls are rare man-eating undead, transformed from jann who died when cursed.1
Appearance
Ghuls are made of translucent, fiery energy and covered in desiccated skin, with a skeletal visage. They fiercely hate their own feet, which resemble a donkey's hooves, and take great pains to hide them with clothing. Some ghuls completely hide their forms with formal garb, claiming to be aliens that cannot survive without extensive environmental protections. Ghuls can also take the form of a hyena.1
Ecology
Ghuls hunger for the flesh of intelligent creatures. They prefer the taste of the young and brave to that of the old, sick or sinful, and often stalk funerals or battlefields in search of such corpses. Ghuls sometimes hunt the living, but limit their victims to those that will not be missed.1
