Ghosts are the undead souls of creatures that died but cannot move on from the Material Plane to the afterlife due to being bound by a powerful emotion, most often injustice. Because of this, the majority of ghosts are hateful mockeries of their mortal selves, although ghosts bound by positive emotions exist.
