The Eye of Gideron is a large fortress-moon with strategic importance to the Gideron Authority that serves as a staging ground for their conflict with the Marixah Republic.

Geography

The Eye of Gideron orbits the Maelstrom's Maw, a gas giant located in a solar system on the fringes of the Gideron Authority. It has an abnormal number of Drift beacons for its region of space, turning it into a critically important location. The Eye of Gideron is large enough to have its own atmosphere, and is covered in lush rainforests and several active volcanoes.

History

The Gideron Authority maintains a large military presence on the Eye of Gideron, in preparation for the war with the Marixah Republic. It is reported that, hidden deep in the forests and under the surface, are the ruins of a long-lost civilisation.
