Cantors are a type of velstracs that serve other velstracs as scouts in their goal of convincing mortals that pain is a tool of self-improvement. A cantor's claws caise the victim to feel vividly the pain of its claws, and its silent scream can create a large, horrifying illusory double of itself.

Appearance

A cantor appears as a childlike humanoid with glowing red eyes whose entire skin has been removed, revealing cords of gray musculature. It stands a mere three feet tall and weighs less than 50 pounds.
