Vortex sharks are a species of predatory cartilaginous fish that inhabit the cold seas of the Brethedan moon Kalo-Mahoi.1
Appearance
The vortex shark is a slim, bioluminescent shark with four jaws filled with hooked teeth. Female vortex sharks are bigger than males.1
Ecology
Female vortex sharks lay their eggs in pouches. There is no parental care among vortex sharks, and hatchlings feed on their weaker siblings as their first meal.1
