Void oozes are a species of mindless oozes hailing from outer space in the Shadow Plane. Instinctually drawn to portals to other planes, or where the interplanar veil is thin, void oozes are attracted by the stench of life. Their very presence and attacks dim the light around them and their victims, and they feed on and reproduce with the negative energy emanated by the dying and newly dead. Void oozes can hibernate and survive indefinitely in the vacuum, so they can be found nearly everywhere.
