Swarm Patrol Corps

The Swarm Patrol Corps is a group dedicated to the identification and neutralisation of psychic threats to the Pact Worlds. It originated as a special military unit in the Pact Worlds military during the invasion of the Swarm.¹

History

When the Swarm invaded the Pact Worlds, the Swarm Patrol Corps was founded by volunteer shirrens and veterans from both sides of the lashunta-formian war. Focusing on psionic innovation, the Swarm Patrol Corps developed new magic and technology and shared their knowledge and tactics to the rest of the Pact Worlds to help repel the Swarm.¹

After the Swarm retreated, the Swarm Patrol Corps has been maintaining a tactical and research division on Absalom Station.¹

Members

The Swarm Patrol Corps traces its roots to the arrival of the shirrens in the Pact Worlds, during which they were helped by the individualistic lashuntas and collectivist formians to adjust, settle in their new home and discover a new identity independent of the Swarm hive mind. These three psychic species later formed the backbone of the Swarm Patrol Corps.¹
