Shock grid

A shock grid is an electrical countermeasure that enhances physical security around a permanently installed computer. If a hacker or other unauthorized user attempts to access a computer with a shock grid installed, it emits a harmful electrical shock.

Installation

A grid of electricity-conducting material is installed in the computer, which must be fixed permanently to a surface, as well as in its surroundings to a radius of up to 10 feet. The grid can be configured to either stun or kill creatures, and is often configured to emit a stunning shock first as a warning before emitting a lethal charge.
