Shadow giants are an ancient, insular race of giants from the Shadow Plane.[1]
Appearance
The typical shadow giant is dark-skinned, grey-haired, stands 15 feet tall and weighs 2,400 pounds.[1]
Society
Shadow giants are insular and rarely make contact with others, except when gathering sacrificial victims. They practice a profane religion whose rites involve the bloody sacrifice of victims on steeped obsidian pyramids, presided by their shamans.[1]
Shadow giants are sometimes bound via ancient agreements by beings connected with the Shadow Plane, who employ them as shock troops or guards. Shadow giants are driven by duty and pride to honour such pacts, in which they find some comfort.[1]
