Scouring swarm
Scouring swarms are swarms of bizarre tiny silvery creatures allegedly created by grays to erase evidence of their presence.1
Appearance
Each component of a scouring swarm resembles a slimy gnat with three hook-like legs, a short spout that sprays acid and a long proboscis that slurps liquefied food. In massive numbers, they appear as roiling, silvery, foamy clouds. When a scouring swarm dies, its components decompose, leaving behind liquid neon.1
Ecology
Despite their lack of reproductive biology, two or more scouring swarm components can multiply rapidly in environments with little oxygen and enough food. Scouring swarms cannot survive in an atmosphere which is at least 10% oxygen. Scouring swarms cannot harm inorganic material, but can quickly consume organic material to the microscopic level, like traces of DNA.1
