Psydrake
Psydrakes are a species of small dragons that collect information, particularly conspiracy theories.1
Ecology
Unlike most of their cousins, who hoard treasure and power, psydrakes prefer information. They keep a few bits of physical evidence of their theories, enough to help them follow clues if their memory is tampered with, but almost incomprehensible to others, forcing anyone who wish to learn of the psydrake's theories to speak to them. They can tell lengthy diatribes detailing conspiracy theories and esoteric connections between various concepts, in order to distract others.1
Habitat
Psydrakes nest in one place, set themselves up as information brokers, make contacts, investigate leads and collect rumours, but feel uncomfortable when staying at one place for too long. They are always hard to locate, and only trusted contacts know exactly where they are. Once a psydrake feels that it has learnt enough, it moves on to a new area.1
Society
Psydrakes are willing to spread the seeds of their conspiracy theories, but demand high prices for full details or proof. They can be convinced to trade stories, the more outlandish the better, but are easily capable of rooting out fabricated stories, and do not react well when tricked. Once a bargain is struck, they always have to hear the other party's story before telling their own, and usually leave out major details of their story to avoid revealing their all secrets. If one is stalked by a psydrake demanding information, it is possible to trick it into meeting and endlessly swapping stories with another psydrake.1
