Multiverse

From StarfinderWiki

Multiverse is a term referring to alternate universes that exist parallel to this one and can be tapped into by witchwarpers. While the mainstream academic community has no consensus on any formal theory that explains this phenomenon, some fringe scientists attribute it to the principles of quantum entanglement. The theorist Jhanessa Leshacht connects string theory, which maintains that all realities are connected by fundamental energy strings that produce particles depending on their vibration, with inflationary cosmology, which posits that the universe was born in a big bang involving particles rushing outward from a quantum field; during the big bang, these particles could have vibrated the strings of reality, creating potentially unlimited alternate realities.1

Multiverse mirrors are panes of reflective material that, when a charge is passed through them, phases slightly out of the viewer's dimension and shows a reflection of them from another reality.2

Myrrium is a mysterious orrery possessed by the Starfinder Society that temporarily transports those it touches to another reality, including one where the Veskarium defeated the Pact Worlds, annexed the Golarion system, and came into conflict with the Azlanti Star Empire much earlier;3 one where the thasteron industry never crashed and Akiton remains wealthy;4; and one where the Pact Worlds and Veskarium were both defeated and consumed by the Swarm.5
