Lore guardians are magical constructs created by ancient civilisations, whose ruins they still protect from aspiring pillagers. Unlike golems, lore guardians have only limited magical resistances, and they are animated strictly by magic. Lore guardians are echoes of their creators, and, psychically imprinted with their traditions, often mindlessly imitate their behaviours and rituals. Lore guardians can recognise the species that created them, and members of such a species can approach them peacefully.
