Kyokor
Kyokors ane of the most common forms of colossi that continually lay waste to the planet Daimalko. Capable of sensing settlements, kyokors are capable of entrancing entire crowds at once as they decimate cities and crowds.1
Appearance
Kyokors are bipedal titans covered in armoured plates, from between which they can extrude hundreds of appendages, which they rarely use for fine manipulation of objects. Their arms end in jagged claws, which are too big for grabbing and are used exclusively as weapons. A kyokor's chin is elongated, its eye sockets are a cavernous gash with glowing eyes, and sharp crown-like growths rise from the top of its head. A single kyokor is typically about 150 feet tall and weighs more than 20 tons.1
History
Alongside the other Daimalkan colossi, kyokors emerged in the Awakening from the oceans as they evaporated. The colossi quickly destroyed both of Daimalko's civilisations and killed most of its inhabitants, forcing the survivors to flee into underground caverns, and their rampage across the planet hasn't stopped since then.2
Abilities
Kyokors have the ability to sense population centres from afar and to freeze their victims' minds in fear, leaving them at the kyokors' mercy as they destroy cities. It's said that kyokors can speak, but no one has heard them doing so.1
Ecology
Kyokors target settlements and revel in the fear they produce as they demolish buildings and snatch up tiny humanoid snacks. It is unknown if it's destruction or meat that sustains their hunger. Kyokors are surprisingly intelligent and occasionally fight other colossi in titanic battles.1
