The Kreiholm Freehold is a multiplanetary federation of several intelligent species that inhabit five planets in the Saaruq-Ruaan binary star system in the Vast. Member species include the:

• Matoh, native to Saaruq-3
• Nelentu, originally from Agillae-2 in the Scoured Stars
• Syngnathrix, native to Saaruq-5
• Tekian, originally from Callion-1 in the Scoured Stars
• Thyr, originally from Bastiar-7 in the Scoured Stars

The Freehold is governed by a democratically elected council which meets in a space station orbiting their primary star.
