For centuries, the anacites of Aballon in the Pact Worlds system worked on and maintained an enormous, city-sized neural network in the hopes that they could create an artificial god in their own image. They succeeded in the end, but the fledgling deity immediately sought out those like it, the ancient goddess Brigh and the divine artificial intelligence Casandalee, and together they merged to form a new deity, Triune. Epoch became a mere aspect of the gestalt Triune, although it maintains its own personality, priorities, and worshipers.
