A drone is a robot custom-built by certain mechanics to house their artificial intelligence assistant. This AI is far more advanced and complicated than any available for sale to consumers; only the mechanic that built it can operate or repair the AI or the drone housing it.

Appearance

Drones come in three chassis types:

• Combat drones, the largest and most heavily armoured type, move along the ground and are specifically designed for combat, with multiple weapon mounts.
• Hover drones, the smallest and most lightweight, are outfitted with aerial propulsions to fly.
• Stealth drones, which specialise in stealth, are sleek, covered in a light-absorbing alloy and move on a silent form of propulsion.
