The Croban system is a solar system with ten planets covered in vegetation, particularly Croban III to Croban VI, which are considered to be the Azlanti Star Empire's breadbasket. It is ruled by Arcidux Holtinus Vedivon, who views it as a genetic laboratory where he could engineer the perfect food. The only intelligent species in the Croban system is the hortuses of Croban V, slaves of the Azlanti.1 In 422 AG, the Drift Crash incited the hortuses into besieging Holtinus Vedivon's exploitative biolabs, leading to a massive drop in food exports.2
