Comet
A comet is a small, icy astronomical object that, when it approaches a star, heats up and emits gases. This results in the formation of an extended, gravitationally unbound atmosphere around the nucleus, and occasionally a tail of gas and dust blown away from it.1
Comets in religion
The symbol of the goddess Pharasma is a cometlike spiral of energy.2
