Carsai the King is the ruler of the Citadel of the Black on the Pact Worlds system planet of Aucturn and a powerful leader in the Cults of the Elder Mythos. He has ruled the Citadel for millennia and is rumored to be an avatar of the Outer God Nyarlathotep himself. As a leader in the Cults of the Elder Mythos, Carsai defends Aucturn from the influence of the cultists from the Dominion of the Black who seek to manipulate the embryonic Great Old One believed to exist within the planet. Carsai is a relatively rational and approachable figure, at least by the otherwise bizarre standards of Aucturn, and it was only through his influence and diplomacy that the Pact Worlds government decided to accept Aucturn as a protectorate. Carsai has gained in popularity in some media, where he is seen as a devilishly handsome and rebellious godling, leading to an upswing in the worship of Nyarlathotep and the other Outer Gods in the Pact Worlds system.
