Aanung-ans, also called occulted dead, are undead that arise from those who died while performing evil occult rituals and wield obscure lore to pursue an inscrutable goal.1
Appearance
Aanung-ans are gangly, emaciated and dressed in ritual garb.1
Society
It is speculated that all aanung-ans are linked together and seeking to enact a galaxy-wide ritual, but no one agrees on their final goal, whether that be summoning an Outer God or snuffing out all life. Most aanung-ans are solitary, except the most powerful ones who raise occult zombies as guards.1
