PC races alignment
Are you really sure that every single PC race can be of any alignment, without exception? - HTD (talk) 08:57, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
- You're partially right, in that RAW there's nothing that physically prevents you from making a non-CE drow or non-LE hobgoblin (the only such restriction I've seen in both PF and SF is that a vine leshy's alignment must have at least a neutral component). In practice it's a little more complex: certain races are overwhelmingly of one alignment, and a single deviant member doesn't change the alignment of the race as a whole. Some of them (drow, formians, goblins, hobgoblins and orcs) have long been established in PF as being so, while some others (draeliks, embri, grays, kanabo and reptoids, possibly shobhads as well) are not such long established, but their background makes it rather clear that they're overwhelmingly of one alignment as well. - HTD (talk) 09:17, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
Category moves
Thanks for pruning categories, but please don't leave redirects behind when moving categories. If anything links to a category page being moved, please update the links. -Oznogon (talk) 23:14, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
Image sources
Hey there! I noticed you've uploaded a few images that came from Paizo blogs. It's important to provide a source for these images, since being able to show where they appeared on the blog is what proves they're in the Community Use package. In the future, please either include the {{file}} template in the item's page or put a link to where it came from in the summary line so it shows up for other editors somewhere. Thanks!— Yoda8myhead (talk) 22:49, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
- Aaaaand I see that you're already on top of it. Everything's fine here. Move along.— Yoda8myhead (talk) 22:50, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
Renaming categories
I'd want to know your reasoning for separating the Forest/Jungle terrain creatures category into different categories for forests and jungles. Jungles are warm forests so PFWiki combined them and SFWiki did the same thing. I'm guessing: are you familiar with PF or PFWiki? - HTD (talk) 15:04, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- Although jungles are warm forests, not all warm forests are jungles. I thought they should be sparate, even on PFWiki it's confusing to have them mixed together. —This unsigned post was made by Atouru. Please sign all posts with ~~~~.
- Bring that up on PFWiki and/or the Discord channel then. At least, we are interested in keeping the majority of the policies between the two wikis consistent. - HTD (talk) 22:53, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- Forest and jungle terrains are often combined in Pathfinder's mechanics, particularly around creature environments. I don't know whether Starfinder does the same as consistently. Since those categories are primarily mechanical in nature, and Starfinder and Pathfinder are different game systems, it's OK for those categories to diverge on SFW if the mechanics also diverge.
- I'll copy this discussion to Category talk:Forest/Jungle terrain creatures and post a thread in the SFW forums linking to that talk page. That might also help draw some broader discussion on it. -Oznogon (talk) 23:09, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

Apostae
Are you still undecided whether Apostae is a planet, planetoid or something else? - HTD (talk) 22:40, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
Category
Aroggus (and some other demagogues) are an anomaly when it comes to that particular category. If you look closely, no demigod-level member of outsider races has the equivalent category (sahkil tormentors aren't in Cat:Sahkil; demon lords aren't in Cat:Demon,...). - HTD (talk) 07:51, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
