Shelynium

Shelynium ice or just called shelynium is a rare variety of water found only deep in the Darkside section of the planet Verces in the Pact Worlds system. There it is mined by workers using specialized mechanical suits. Shelynium exhibits magical traits, such as acting like a superconductor and the ability to heal a broken heart, and researchers believe that they have only begun to fully understand it. Further study of shelynium is being conducted in places such as GlaceTek's Site 37 on the shores of the Whalehook Sea and Vorceaux Inc.'s Southfield north of the Klebani Range.

Religion

Followers of the deity Shelyn believe that shelynium is made from the frozen tears of the goddess (and is also where it gets its name) that she spilled when her brother Zon-Kuthon fell into darkness.
