Shadow Absalom Station is the twisted reflection of Absalom Station on the Shadow Plane. Like its Material Plane counterpart, it is a major hub of trade and safety on the Shadow Plane.1

Geography

Shadow Absalom Station is a haphazard but inhabitable space station, made out of debris, asteroids and starships. The core of Shadow Absalom Station is the Glare, a vast natural light source contained within a black stone cathedral which repels the infectious darkness of nearby Xovaikain. The Glare also serves as a portal which deposits any extraplanar traveller to their point of origin before they entered the Shadow Plane, but since the advent of the Drift, some such travellers end up in an inhabitable portion of the Drift instead.1

History

Most of Shadow Absalom Station's history is lost to the Gap. It was named after its counterpart on the Material Plane, and Shadow Absalom Click this link to see if this article exists on PathfinderWiki., a pre-Gap city on the Shadow Plane.1

Government

Shadow Absalom Station is governed by the Cultured Assembly, which mostly consists of rich kayal or d'ziriak magnates, as well as a hag coven, an umbral dragon, several intelligent undead, outsiders from the Shadow Plane and a few creatures from other planes. Members of the Cultured Assembly convene regularly to ensure the station's stability, the enforcement of laws and a healthy trade, making Shadow Absalom Station a good place to acquire illegal goods.1
