Nightarch (portal)

The Nightarch is a magical portal located in the drow city of Nightarch on the Pact Worlds system member of Apostae. It bears a resemblance to the portals connecting various worlds within the system, serving as a ring of access to most of the other Pact Worlds. However, unlike others, this arch is adorned with inscrutable markings that have resisted all attempts at deciphering. Upon activation, which occurs spontaneously and infrequently, it opens a gateway to unfamiliar terrains. To date, none who have ventured through these transient portals have returned.
