Ex Novo is the name of the secretive and anonymous governing council of the Android Abolitionist Front (AAF). It is headquartered on the asteroid Chainbreaker One in the Diaspora of the Pact Worlds system that is hidden by sophisticated stealth technology. The membership of Ex Novo is so secretive that not even AAF members know their identities, although it is rumored to consist of mostly androids and a sentient AI. Ex Novo chooses the AAF's goals and targets and generates pirate propaganda broadcasts that attempt to generate sympathy for the organization amongst the general public.
