I'm not sure this exactly works for Starfinder unless we have a definitive number for how many years The Gap lasted (which I gathered was not now and likely never will be the case).

We could just use AG reckoning, since we at least know how many years since The Gap have elapsed for the Pact Worlds. That introduces the issue of pre-Gap dates, though. Perhaps AR works for those, and we'd just need to make guidelines for post-Gap dates to this policy.
