Ontologies of Self
More information about this subject might be available on PathfinderWiki. |
Ontologies of Self is a compilation of the writings of the prophet Kalistrade from Golarion left to his followers after his death. His followers split into factions that differently interpreted, annotated, and expanded upon the Ontologies until the discovery of Kalistrade's tomb a century later.
A pilgrimage to the tomb led the factions to Kalistrade's preserved body and soul in a personal afterlife, where they communed with him over five days to reconcile their differences. After a year of conventions to curate their works and incorporate them with the Ontologies, including the first Assembly of Auguries, Kalistrade's followers produced the Prophecies of Kalistrade, a unified work that formed the foundation of the religion by that name.1
