The Driftmaven is an enigmatic starship dedicated to Triune, moving through space following its patron's commands. It frequenrly reconfigures itself, transforming into a protective shell or bloom of lasers as needed. A group of androids claim to staff the ship, yet its true crew is actually an on-board array of artificial intelligences. The few visitors report extremely limited access to the interior (even for Triune's priests) and a disquieting lack of accommodations for living creatures; instead, artificial lifeforms and constructs make their home in shallow, austere recesses.
