The Abbey of Nevers is the sanctuary of the velstrac demagogue Aroggus on the Shadow Plane, originally established after the velstracs' exodus from Hell. The Abbey of Nevers is composed of both physical shadowstuff and phantasmagoric pleasures and nightmares. Aroggus has since remained in spirit form in the Abbey of Nevers and turned it into his mind and body, and can take physical form within various items within it, preferring a suit of powered armor considered to be the predecessor of the kyton bloodsuit.
