Kortus IV is the fourth planet in the Kortus system and the site of Braerton, a long-forgotten Pact Worlds colony.

Geography

Kortus IV is a world of towering ancient forests, great lakes and diverse biota, orbited by two moons and containing a vast deposit of finitrium, a rare but worthless starmetal.

History

In 233 AG, Braerton was founded by Pact Worlds colonists; in exchange for supplies and protection, Braerton would extract resources back home and expand the Pact Worlds' reach into the Vast. After a few years, a mysterious organisation tied to the Starfinder Society conquered Braerton and erased it from the Pact Council's records; since then, the colony has had no contact with the Pact Worlds.

Inhabitants

The Kortus system has no native intelligent life before Braerton was settled.
