The Observer-class is a small model of security robots, designed to record information. They are convenient and almost ubiquitous in advanced settlements, but do not understand nuance, and the cheapest observers are often programmed with faults, leading them to develop personality quirks.

Models

The most common model of observers in Absalom Station is AbadarCorp's VizAll, a flying orb with gentle contours, stubby fins, a central eye and cheerful speech. The Aballonian Sunward Corporation produces the insect-like Arbitron, while those of Triaxus' Bluescale Industries resemble tiny drakes. The Azlanti Star Empire also employs their own model of observers.
